I'm sure glad I wasn't born in China. As if "The Great Firewall of China" which prevents people inside China from being able to access things the government doesn't like wasn't bad enough. The Chinese government apparently shut down 598 web sites for being obscene. People are going to jail over this. In 2004 a webmaster was sentenced to 15 years in prison for selling downloadable pornographic movies.
People like to complain about the US and how much things suck here, but at least you don't live in China. Things aren't so bad in the USA, it just seems that most of us haven't had the experience of living in a fucked up country to make the United States not look so bad.
Yay communism! I'll bet the corrupt bastards sending the cops out to arrest Chinese pornographers look at porn on their own computers. I can't believe there's any place left in the world for behavior like this. Welcome to 1850!
