Normally I would try to avoid writing articles about adult topics just because I don't want to get my site classified as "adult" by other people or search engines.  In this case however, it isn't really adult content, it is webmaster content.  Let's face it, there are thousands of "porn sites" out there, and some people making decent money with them.  Advertising and hosting an adult site however, is not so easy.  I did not realize that when I set out building my site, which was the first I had created in a few years.

I created a site to sell adult anime products (dvds mostly) and watched some small amount of commission trickle in from my anime affiliate program.  I decided to give Mallcom a try, whose catalog contains over 25,000 adult products (including an animation category which is what I was interested in).  They offer 25% commission, which is great.  They will even pay a commission for any webmasters you refer that make sales.  Much to my surprise, people ordered far more items from the Mallcom sections of my site than they did from the other affiliate, despite the fact that the mallcom prices were higher.  I decided to expand the site to include other items like sex toys and dvd movies. 

Mallcom offers simple tools to help you setup a site in a matter of seconds... or you can just directly send customers to their storefront.  My favorite feature of their program is that they send out an email every time you make a sale, so you don't have to wait for some status report at the end of the week like other sites.  You can also check your stats on their site.  They also create an invoice for your customer that has your company name on it instead of theirs, which will help remind them to return to your site.  I don't know many other companies that offer same-day shipping. 

They mail you a check once a month and have been 100% reliable for me.  Oh yeah, I almost forgot that they even give you a $100 shopping spree on their site after you get a certain number of sales.  The only bad things I can think of is that they don't have a data feed for their products, and they only mail checks (no direct deposit).  If anyone finds a screen scraping php script that can make a mysql database of mallcom items, I would be very interested in that information.  If they offered a data feed of some kind I believe that they would completely blow away anything other adult fullfilment companies could possibly come up with.
