Weapons of Mass DistractionRich Jerk Success Team

I got a phone call from the Rich Jerk's "Success Team" yesterday and thought "hey, these guys might be exactly what I've been needing to take my business to the next level."

Well I wish that was the case, but alas ... no. After doing some digging I found out that the company claiming to be the jerk's success team is actually ecapitaltraining (.com) (don't want to give them a link). I also found this thread.  Everything was adding up to this being a bad idea for me (and probably most other people that know what they're doing).  I read the "success stories" on their web site and was apalled at how TERRIBLE most of them are.  Most of the people on that page aren't doing much (if any) better than my sites already are.

Anway I got another phone call from them this morning and talked with a guy for a while.  He admitted to having a site of his own but didn't mention how well it was doing.  After talking to him enough that he could tell I knew what I was doing, he told me that their service/"investment" wasn't right for me since I won't get much out of it.  While doing the research the night before I pretty much came to the same conclusion myself.  There was a post about this service being "garbage" on the rich jerk members forum, but I couldn't find it when I went back to look (maybe it got deleted?)

Basically I got all excited for nothing. The Rich Jerk success team seems to be nothing more than a way to squeeze more money out of clueless people.  If you've already got web sites up and running and have a clue about SEO and advertising, consider this very carefully as these guys probably won't do much for you other than squeeze a few thousand dollars out of your wallet!  Of course this is all just my opinion based on a couple phone calls and 2 forum threads.  If you have personal experience with this let me know.
